Blood pocket: This indicated that bleeding from the injury has formed a blood pocket in the location. It will usually reach a peak size and stop bleeding due to the pressure formed i the pocket. Within a day or more there may be migration of the breakdown products of the blood, producing a black eye.There can also be a hard lump form in the area that last months from calcium buildup.
