Usually not: It is possible that you have such an inflammed fissure that this can happen. In extreme cases, inflammation surrounding the fissures does occur. However this is usually not the case.

ANAL FISSURES: Are tears in the anal canal. Since they are open wounds with stool and bacteria going by, there is always the risk of infection and development of an abscess which needs surgical drainage.
