Can proventil and atrovent (ipratropium) used together?

Absolutely: Proventil (albuterol) and atrovent (ipratropium bromide) are very commonly recommend to be used together for treatment of airway bronchospasm commonly seen in asthma or copd. I would caution that there are better, long-acting medications that provide better benefit if you are not well-controlled on proventil and atrovent alone. Otherwise they do indeed work very well together.
