A member asked:

Will a vaginal infection make you sterile?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No, not unless STD: The usual vag infection will not , but soemtimes you could have an undiagnosed std by itself or with a benign vaginal infection and if the std like gon, or chly., is untreated and gets up into the uterus and tubes it could make you sterile but in 2012 that should not happen if you see you gyn as your gyn can do a culture for non stds and stds at teh same time.
