A significant change: I am sorry you have to go through this tough surgery. But sometimes that is the only way to treat several serious conditions. Is there any consideration for reconnect the bowel with your rectum, or maybe have an ostomy created?

Good bowel prep: Otherwise have good family support. I usually have patients take mag citrate 300ml times two starting 12 pm day before on liquid diet, morning of surgery a fleets enema.
