Depends on the test: There are many many hormones in the human body. Some are measurable in regular laboratories. First, one has to identify exactly which hormone is being measured. Secondly, one has to know exactly what the numerical value and the units of measurement are. Thirdly, other factors such as gender, age, stage of puberty, stage of menstrual cycle, etc... Sometimes call for different normal values.

Early Menopause: You need find out what was your estrogen/estradiol level and follicle stimulating hormone (fsh). If you estrogen is 2, this could be a sign of menopause if your fsh is high. Look up menopause and compare your levels of hormone to someone who has menopause.
