See a doctor!: The site of infection would determine the treatment. Not all fever is an infection that requires antibiotic therapy so i would see a doctor if fever persists to decide if an infection is present or if there is another reason for this problem. Most fevers without severe symptoms are usually viral infections that go away within 3-7 days.
