Conjunctivitis : Ofloxacin is a good antibiotic eye drop if you have a bacterial eye infection. It is possible you may have allergic, viral, or chemical eye irritation. You may also have scratched your ? Swollen eye could also be a result from a stye. If you are still having swelling, see your pcp for an evaluation. :).

Could or should ?: This is a pricy drop if a simple artificial tear/eye drop would do. You need to pull back the lids & see if there is a trapped piece of debris that needs to be flushed out. It could be removed with a wet Q-tip. If this is because of a bug bite near a lid neither would help. If you have it, you could use it but may need to reserve it for a crusty eye infection.
