Yes: A strawberry allergy may take on the symptoms of any food allergy. These include swelling, especially in the face, legs and arms, itchiness, shortness of breath and wheezing, congestion, mouth rash, coughing, throat tightness, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea and fainting. A common allergic reaction to strawberries is hives. These are itchy bumps on the skin that can be painful and irritating.
