Depends: Athletes foot needs to be treated. Otc medication may clear the problem about a month. If not well i suggest you see a dermatologist or podiatrist.

2-4 weeks: With the right antifungal, this should go away within 2-4 weeks. If it is still present after 4 weeks, switch medications.
