None significant.: If you are asking because you received terbutaline just before your emergency cesarean section, rest assured that its effects on the fetus/neonate are mild and none are significant. Namely, terbutaline causes the heart rate to increase for about 10-15 minutes, dilates the airways (good effect) and is typically used to relax the uterus so that the fetus' brain gets enough oxygen until delivery.
