Lots of info : People with hepatitis c need to be followed by a specialist who can help determine if, when, and what treatment is needed. There are blood tests that help determine whether someone is likely to have scarring. Some people need liver biopsies. All treatment currently includes interferon and Ribavirin and genotype 1 also includes a protease inhibitor. In 2-4 years treatment will be only pills.
