Patience: I am sure the chemical was not corrosive and did not break down the surface of the eye or they would have sent you immediately to an ophthalmologist. So you probably have some chemical, superficial damage to the cornea, a very sensitive tissue, which will replace itself in 24 hours. If you are not feeling well by the next day, see your ophthalmologist.
