Unwanted loss: Hair: My initial reading of your question seemed like a simple diagnosis of hypo-thyroidism. But, as i sit here i would also want to examine your scalp for signs of infection or other skin damage. I would have several questions about your health history, the medications you are currently taking and to understand if there are any other symptoms that are relevant. More testing is warranted.
