How to treat diabitis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Diet, exercise, meds: Diabetes treatment differs depending on the type of diabetes, the age of the person, the weight of the person, what other illnesses are present, and what bodily damage has already been caused by the diabetes. In general, doctors want to get one's blood sugars normalized with just diet and exercise (with weight loss if needed). Otherwise, medications are needed. Specialist exams are needed, too.
