Depends. : If the stone was completely fragmented and no ureteral stent was placed, recovery tends to be quick, 1-2 days. Some patients, despite this, can have a significant amount of pain or discomfort requiring pain medication. Residual stone disease, residual ureteral edema, ureteral stent pain, and urinary symptoms may persist and prolong recovery.

It depends...: The ureter (tube that drains kidney) is often dilated during surgery which can cause pain. After surgery, a ureteral stent is often placed (but not always). People have very different tolerance levels for stents, varying from no pain - to pain like a kidney stone. Stent removal may cause pain for 24-48 hours. Usually 48 hours after stent removal, you should be feeling close to normal.

Depending...: The timing ; pace to return to "normal" highly vary depending on degree of difficulty in procedures and patient's pain tolerance and coping ability. But largely ; fairly speaking, the timing inquired may be 2-3 days to 1-4 weeks or longer; at times, political correctness comes into play so to deviate from necessity. Ask urologist for individual detail.
