Generally no. : While sporting is common between periods it should not be considered normal. A reason is often found when searched for. It can include infection, polyps, fibroids, hormonal problems, pregnancy, clotting problems and cancer. Many of these problems run in families. This should be addressed with a basic visit or two to your gynecologist. You may need an ultrasound and pelvic exam and possibly labs.
