A member asked:

Will arm thrombosis make you feel ill?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Upper extremity thrombosis often occurs secondarily: IV catheter, medications placed into iv's, thoracic outlet obstruction, malignancy (pancreatic, mediastinal), trauma, infection. These problems can make one feel bad, and the clot in the arm accentuates the ill feeling.
