Liquid ibuprophen: In the class of anti-inflammatory medications, it may be injected into a vein or muscle by health professionals in an attempt to provide faster pain relief. Bottom line: oral dosing is just as timely, & effective (and far less costly). Also, not that one dose will cause any problems, chronic use of these kinds (oral anti-inflammatories) cause significant morbidity and mortality. Avoid if possible.
