Coexist: Bowel and bladder dysfunction may coexist and is seen often in children with voiding dysfunction. Having constipation and a distended rectum may lead to problems with bladder emptying and/or storage.

It could: For some people, they get so constipated that the liquid portion of the stool goes around the hard stool and leaks out. Also some forms of constipation are related to weakness in the pelvic floor, which could also cause incontinence. You should see a colon and rectal surgeon for further workup of this.
