Psychological: Assuming there is no mechanical obstruction then your inability to swallow pills is psychological take several deep breaths to relax, hold an ice cube, popsicle, or topical spray in your mouth to numb your throat, take a drink of water before putting pill in your mouth, place the pill on the tip of your tongue, don't psych yourself out by focusing on the pill, practice with small pieces of food or candy.
