Could be PCOS: The most common cause is polycystic ovarian syndrome or pcos which affects about 8 to 10% of women. Simple blood tests and an ultrasound scan of the ovaries are needed to diagnose this condition and check for rarer causes of hair growth like adrenal gland problems. Birth control pills, anti-testosterone medications or vaniqa can reduce facial hair growth. See a rei specialist or ob/gyn for help.

Hair on face: Excessive fascial and chest hair could be indicative of imbalance of female hormones or more of male hormone which can be consequence of different medical conditions. History, examination and investigations by physician would help to know the cause . Treatment will dependent on the cause of hair growth.
