Is it all OK?: Part of any physical exam, dre checks out what is happening inside your anal area, can palpate the prostate in men, check for hemorrhoids, fissures, abnormal masses, hidden blood, and other abnormaliteis that may or may not cause problems for you. Part of any routine physical after age 40 in both men and women--not to be skipped espite the squeamishness many have in getting it done!
