Neurologist: It is preferable to see a neurologist, and try to find one that specializes in seizures and epilepsy. Make sure you have a full evaluation so that the diagnosis may be confirmed. If the diagnosis is correct, the neurologist can guide you to determine if the epilepsy needs to be treated, and with what.
