Splint Toe: You may try splinting the toe to the next toe with tape. I also suggest you have an x-ray to see if the fracture has displaced.

Tape it to next toe: If the break is not in alignment, then it will have to be put back in alignment by a professional. Assusming the break is in alignment, you can tape that toe to the next toe for 4-6 weeks to prevent excessive motion. This will allow help bone to heal and maintain alignment.

Buddy splint: A closed reduction of the toe by forcing back in the direction it was fractured and then splinting it to the 4th toe will help. A visit to your local podiatrist with the procedure done under local anesthesia should relocate the fracture of the toe.
