How long does augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) stay in your system?

Less than 24 hours: Trace amounts possibly for a few days, but not enough for "antibiotic" effects any more.

Not long: The half life or time it takes for 1/2 to be gone from the system of this combination med is 1.7 hours. If you take out another 1/2 in 1.7 and another half in 1.7 it gets down to trace levels in 12 hours. It would be longer in the presence of kidney impairment.
