Elbow injury: If there is swelling and persistent pain, then see an orthopedic surgeon who may take x-rays to evaluate for a possible fracture and can provide appropriate treatment.

X-ray: You should be seen within 12-24 hours. If you have an orthopedic surgeon, call for an appointment. If not, go to the er to be seen and have an x-ray. They can refer you to the appropriate specialist. Good luck.
