Wash the area : Thoroughly. You may even have to soak for a while. Clean/sterilize a tweezer or nail clipper and gently try to pick it out. If too deep, you may have to go to a doctor to have it done for you, especially if local anesthesia is needed. Occasionally waiting a day or two for a tiny abscess to develop as the body walls off the splinter will make it easier to access the splinter.
