Relatively so.: Celebrex (celecoxib) is a cox-2 inhibitor. This medication is a pain-relieving antiinflammatory medication. As with all other nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs (nsaid's), there are increased risks of gastrointestinal bleeding and cardiovascular events (heart attack, stroke) associated with the use of this medication.
