Orthodontiicconsult: I would discuss the situation with your orthodontist. He or she may have you see your general dentist or give you advice.

Unclear Question: Not sure i understand the question. If you have braces, that won't affect your fluorosis. If you have fluorosis, then you may not be completely satisfied with your smile, even after your teeth are straight. You may have to do some more cosmetic dental work afterwards. Perhaps bleaching, if the fluorosis is mild, perhaps some "bonding, " or maybe even porcelain veneers. Either way, it's fixable.

Braces: I'm not sure if i fully understand your question but i'll try to answer it. If you're wondering if you can have braces with fluorosis then the answer is yes. Maybe consider invisalign though as an alternative.

No correlation: What is your concern. The orthodontist may have an issue with bonding brackets do he would have to band your teeth. But with the bonding products out there today it should not be an issue. But i'm not sure what your concern is.

Braces OK to do: With modern advances in dental adhesives, there should not be a problem placing braces. Fluorosis can present as poorly calcified enamel, or areas of exposed dentin and can be bonded to with braces. Porcelain or gold crowns can be similarly bonded , so no worries about ability to have braces adhere to the teeth. After braces, fluorosed teeth that are dark can be bleached or veneered cosmetically.

Go for it: See an orthodontist for rx. Have your teeth and jaws put into the best occlusion possible, and then your restorative dentist can hide the stains on your teeth. Working together the orthodontist and the restorative dentist can do magic for you.
