Possibly...: Chronic bronchitis, a form of copd, is a possible cause for these symptoms. If a productive cough lasts 3 weeks or longer, it needs to be evaluated by a doctor. If there is shortness of breath, you should be evaluated today, in an er if your doctor can't see you right away! there is no cure for chronic bronchitis but symptoms can be controlled with therapy!
