Many Possibilities: Teens who are being abused may display difficulties with their mood, such as depression or anxiety. They may also be more angry or more reactive to minor situations. There is usually a higher incidence of behavior problems, drug and alcohol abuse, and decreased school performance. It is important to remember that all of these difficulties can also occur in the absence of abuse.
