10-14 days: If you have sex at the fertile time when you are ovulating, the soonest you will have a positive pregnancy test is 10 to 14 days later. It will be positive by the time you miss a period.

Next pregnancy: I recommend waiting 18 months before attempting pregnancy after a ceserean. This will allow time for the uterus to heal.

Very accurate at 3wk: A urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result by 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon, and thus lead to a repeat test. If a woman gets her normal regular period, then she is not pregnant, and a test is not needed.

After late period: You should never due a pregnancy test until you miss your period. We used to say that a blood test may confirm pregnancy prior to period, however , at times this has also been faulty. Were women may due a blood test and it is negative and after missing the period they repeat test and they are positive. So please best after a late period.
