Post-ovulation: Delayed menses with cloudy cervical mucous likely indicates one of three things: 1) a persistent corpus luteum after ovulation 2) no ovulation 3) pregnancy. If pregnancy has been ruled out, time will usually restore cycles. A blood test for pregnancy and progesterone, and an ultrasound, would be helpful to assess this.
