Depends on the STD: Birth of a child with aids can have deadly consequences. Syphilis can abort baby or cause major organ system disease or meningitis.Gonorrhea can lead to eye damage or blood infection. Chlamydia can lead to eye damage or early infantile pneumonia.Even things like hepatitis can be a std & pass to baby & eventually lead to liver failure.
