Are the drugs used for cancer chemotherapy the same?

No: There are many different types of chemotherapy medications ranging from skin creams, to pills, to intra-venous medications. They are all quite different and essentially attack rapidly growing cancer cells, each in a different way. The medications are selected for each patient based on extensive research on various forms of cancers. Cancer chemotherapy treatments are highly individualized.
