How is a tumor removed from the brain?

Craniotomy: Brain tumors are generally removed through the gentle, temporary removal of the skull followed by the dissection of the tumor off the normal brain vessels and nerves using a microscope and computer guidance systems. Each brain tumor is different in consistency and its location and hence the ease of removal is determined by your specific type of tumor.

Carefully: You need to ask your doctor about this. It depends on the size and kind of tumor and location if they will attempt to remove it.
