Might be normal: Some discharge is normal for women. Often early in the cycle there is a thin, watery discharge similar to uncooked egg white and, after ovulation, there is a thick white discharge. If there is an infection (vaginitis), the discharge may have an unusual odor, be much more than usual, or be yellow or green. Vaginitis usually causes symptoms of either itching or irritation also.
