A member asked:

How do you get drivers licens if you are color blind or have a deficiency?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

State specific: States have specific requirements for licensure, being color blind or having physical disabilities does not exclude you from driving. Contact your dmv, licensure division, and discuss with them what difficulties you experience. Most states offer licensure possibly with restrictions, if you pass the written/ in-car testing. You may need modifications to the car. Licensure is about safe driving.
