Why is scope mouthwash named scope? is there something special about the name?

Alcohol Free : Scope isan alcohol free mouthwash. This can be advantageous to people who are sensitive to alcohol and who may suffer from dry mouth.

Trade name: Scope has been around since the 1960s. It is a breath freshener with minimal benefits to oral health. The active ingredient is cetylpyrinidium which has shown a small amount of effectiveness at best. It's a nice name though.

Marketing: Bad breath has many causes. Most of the time it is the result of bacteria causing gingivitis or worse periodontitis. This can be avoided by regular brushing, flosing and visits to your dentist. I did not include mouth wash because it will only masks the problem allowing it to become much worse before you have to deal with it.
