I had an oophorectomy about 7 months ago and still have an ugly reddish, c-section-like scar. what do i do?

Wait: The scar gets thicker and redder for 3-6 months, then it will shrink and fade. You can apply topical silicone, which may help. Scar guard is sold in most drug stores, and you paint it on like fingernail polish twice/day.

Scar deactivation: With or without electric stimulation is an acupuncture procedure which may be quite helpful for you.
