Tendonitis: Initial management could include things like avoidance of painful activities/positions, use of nsaids (aleve, advil), periodic application of ice, and gentle stretching. As symptoms improve, gradually resume activities. Should pain not resolve, or get worse, consult with a shoulder specialist.
