Ulcer: It sounds like your boil, or furuncle, ruptured and has no ulcerated. This requires frequent dressing changes as well as drainage if an abscess has developed. Depending on your situation you might also need an antibiotic medication to prevent infection. See a doctor or go to an er, particularly if you have a fever, chills, or sweats.
