Small dark spots on chest a lot of them?

Depends: Not clear on your question nor timing of the "spots." most brown spots on the chest are from sun damage and form over time. Others are harmless age spots. Some are actually dark purple blood vessel growths, which are also harmless. Occasionally, some rashes can look like dark spots. If you are worried or if they are sudden onset they should be looked at by your doctor or a dermatologist.

Likely sun damage: One of the most common causes of dark spots on a middle-aged woman's chest is chronic sun exposure damaging the pigment producing cells, causing them to leave multiple spots behind after the tan has faded. They generally get darker, larger and more plentiful over time chemical peels, laser treatments and medicated skincare can lighten or remove spots and even the skin tone.
