Is their any : Rash? Or peeling skin? Anytime of dermatitis could cause itching. Sometimes, people use the word "itching" when in fact they have a "neuropathy" = nerve pathology. Ordinarily, standing still should not cause itching of the feet and calves - therefore if you don't see any skin issue i would visit the doctor.

Lack of movement: The lack of movement when standing still will cause the blood vessels in the legs to become more dormant, causing the muscles to lose their turgor or strength and thereby causing the feet and calves to itch. The simple solution is to wear support hose if you have to stand for a long time or to move your feet every few minutes to avoid being over stationary.
