On rare occasions: Occasionally patients have special occasions, such as weddings or graduations or other important thing. On a limited basis it is not harmful to most patients. In fact, in some parts of europe there is not a great restriction on alcohol consumption. Some chemo drug have different toxicity issues as a result in european studies. The best bet is to discuss the impact with your physician.
