A couple thoughts: Commonly, infections & allergies cause this combo of symptoms. Other possibilities commonly seen in my osteopathic medical practice are anything which can affect the muscles attached to the head (rib, thoracic spine, clavicle, neck spine or muscle-even sacral dysfunction).Another common cause of this combo is TMJ dysfunction. Most of these are diagnosed & treated well with osteopathic manipulation.

Different things: Several different conditions can cause the same/similar symptoms...Ear infection/ache, ear drum, water in ear, tmj, sinusitis. Check with your doc.
