Air transmission: Meningococcus is spread through the air and so can be transmitted by sick individuals and carriers of the disease to anyone that they are in close contact with.

Many places: Almost any health care provider should be able to administer this vaccine, and a quick search of drug store chains shows that many of them also provide the vaccine. However, the cdc does not currently recommend all adults get this vaccine (only certain at-risk groups). See http://www.Cdc.Gov/vaccines/vpd-vac/mening/who-vaccinate.Htm for more info.
