Lots of hard work: After dental or medical school an internship followed by a minimum of four years in residency is r squired to qualify.

Difficult: You need to do undergraduate work, then dental school, then get accepted into a residency. The competition to get into dental school and residency is quite high. If you are in dental school already, try to do externships at other institutions to get to know faculty members and develop some knowledge that will help you in interviews.
