Try soaking: Try soaking your feet in a mixture of warm water and tea bags. Tea bags have tannic acid and this acts as a good astringent.

See a podiatrist: Smelly feet are caused by bacteria, fungus, or both. It is best to allow your feet to air dry. Avoid shoewear that traps the moisture in the shoes. Often times cheap shoes do not breath and be made of plastic or simulated leather. Try soaking your feet in tea to dry the eccrine glands, use foot powders, ie zeasorb, and allow your feet to catch sunlight and air. See your podiatrist.

Smelly feet: Although the other suggestions are good - and the work - you cannot prevent your feet from perspiring. Use an antibacterial soap to help at the skin level. There is a product called clean sweep that really does eliminate odors from shoes and it does so by killing the bacteria and fungus responsible for the odor.
